Welcome to Faith Bible Church
Welcome to the website for Faith Bible Church! We are a baptist church body, just outside of Bloomsburg, PA, that exists to bring glory to God and to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ through our worship, our witness and our congregational life. We identify ourselves as “reformed baptists”, meaning that we hold to doctrines that were at the heart of the Protestant Reformation and which found expression, also, in English Puritanism. Our doctrinal position is summarized in the 2nd London Baptist Confession (1689).
At Faith Bible Church, we focus on simple, Christ-centered worship, the teaching of God's Word and building up the Body of Christ through ministry to one another. The gospel of God's grace is central to all that we are and all that we do as a church. We are not all about programs or trying to keep up with the latest “church trends.” We are about loving God, loving one another and making the saving grace of Christ known in all the world. We are a group of flawed and utterly unworthy believers in Christ, saved by grace alone and seeking to constantly know and experience more of the riches of His grace. We are reformed, but we are also reforming, because it is our aim to continue to be changed, individually and as a church, as we study the Word of God and apply it in our lives.
